A Glimpse at the Clients & Services Representative Role:

The Clients & Services Representative is a highly-motivated, positive, passionate and outgoing over-achiever whose primary focuses are troubleshooting, processing client requests and maintaining and growing relationships with new and existing clients‒all while exceeding their expectations. You are a natural “people person” and a confident communicator who gets a kick out of helping people and impressing them with your ability to go above and beyond.

In this role, you’d be kind of like a Real Food Super Hero: saving the day when needed and helping caregivers navigate obstacles with a smile‒and a great deal of patience! As a C&S Representative, you’ll need to put yourself in the client’s shoes, with an eye towards improving our food and services in ways that enhance the client’s experience.

As part of the C&S team, you will also wear many hats and be involved with numerous projects across the organization, so the ideal candidate can think outside of the box and has a history of striving for continuous improvement. We're looking for someone awesome to join our team to help provide the best service possible to our roster of outstanding clients! Are you up for the challenge?

The things you’ll get paid to do:

  • Be an exemplary first point of contact for your portfolio of clients (email, phone, some fax, in person)

  • Provide excellent customer service, build genuine relationships, respond expertly to questions and concerns and politely challenge clients’ assumptions about food

  • Work with other departments to resolve issues and develop innovative solutions to improve RFRK’s service to clients

  • Track and maintain detailed records of all communication with clients

  • University Degree

  • Experience in a demanding customer service role

  • Proficient with computers (especially Macs, MS Office, and databases)

  • Outstanding communication skills

    • Confident conversationalist

    • Great listener

    • Able to write well  

  • Valid Ontario Drivers License

  • Completed Vulnerable Sector Screening. Successful candidates will be required to pay for a vulnerable sector screening along with any additional documentation required to complete the vulnerable sector screening (e.g., fingerprinting services if requested by the police).

  • Fluency in French is a plus but not a requirement
